In this vivencia we will meet in the dances 4 famous women, special in their being Woman and we will dance their potential for transformation: Empathy, Tenderness, Care and Self-Love.
Lakshmi Seghal brings us the power of EMPATHY. Only when we feel and understand the path of those close to us can we offer help and support. Lakshmi dedicated his life to caring for others and for this he needed to feel their real needs.
Connect with the people around you, what are they trying to tell you?
Lakshmi Seghal (1914 – 2012) studied medicine and was the head of a regiment of the Indian National Army, as a doctor. It welcomed refugees and the people most marginalized by society. She became a member of the Democratic Women's Association (AIDWA) and campaigned for political, economic and social justice.
Chimamanda brings the power of TENDERNESS. Tenderness invites us to be gentle and affective in our words and actions, respecting the space of others and others, bringing lightness to our Lives.
There are doors that do not open with strong manners, but with calm and affection.
Chimamanda (1977) is a Nigerian writer recognized as one of the most important young English-speaking authors. He addressed very tough issues such as racism, machismo and migration, in a very assertive and combative way. He has a tender and sweet tone in the use of the word seeking encounter and understanding, instead of separation. In her speech "We Should All Be Feminists," Chimamanda poses as an African feminist and says that she "deeply believes in the ability of Humans to reinvent themselves and become better."
Josefina Lema brings the power of CARE. She heals the body, mind and spirit by integrating them and going towards the essence of the human being. Pains and illnesses carry teachings that contribute to understanding our daily lives.
The cure is when we accept the transformation and come out stronger.
Josefina Lema lives in Ecuador and is of Quechua nationality. While still young he visited various communities and villages learning the use of medicinal plants. Today he receives in his home all those who seek health and spiritual clarity, using the plants of his own garden. He has conducted treatment courses in different places around the world and has also participated in the World Social Forum in Porto Alegre.
Luz de Fuego brings the power of SELF-LOVE. To love oneself is to respect and honor the singular, unique and wonderful person that we are. It is learning to admire each part of us and the path that has brought us here.
When we abandon the idea of what they are or are not, we are free.
Luz de Fuego (1917 – 1967) scandalized Brazil in the 40s and 50s. She was a dancer, naturalist and pioneer of the movement for freedom of expression and body. She founded a naturist community called "Island of the Sun" and was constantly besieged by men who, misunderstanding and fantasizing, sought sexual experiences there. Luz reported these sieges to the police and was murdered in revenge.
Cost of the evening 20.00 euros.
