In this vivencia we will meet in the dances 4 famous women, special in their being Woman and we will dance their potential for transdormation: Integrity, Freedom, Resilience, Self-esteem.
Simone de Beauvoir brings us the Power ofINTEGRITY which means accepting all aspects of our being without wearing a pre-built role. Do not be afraid of our Light. Aligning feeling, thinking, speaking and acting is living in full.
Simone de Beauvoir (1908-1986), philosopher and writer French, referent of classical feminist literature, is the author of the famous phrase "Woman is not born, she becomes one".
Emma Goldman brings us the Power of FREEDOM,living our truth integrally without fear of judgment. Focus on the here and now giving the best of yourself without sticking to the results.
Emma Goldman (1869-1940), born in Lithuania, a textile worker, stood up for many workers' strikes, said: "In a society sustained by lies, any expression of truth is seen as madness."
Maria da Penha brings us the Power of RESILIENCE which means maintaining strength and hope even if we are going through an extremely difficult situation. Use difficulty as learning and, in this way, reinvent OURSELVES.
Maria da Penha (1945), suffered two deadly assaults by her husband. The Brazilian government decreed a law (No. 11,340) to stop violence against women, symbolically the Law bears her name Maria da Penha Law.
Elza Soares brings us the Power ofSELF-ESTEEM which means believing first of all in oneself rather than in external evaluation. Instead of seeking approval, appreciate your beauty and honor what you have done so far!
Elza Soares (1937), who grew up in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, became famous and had much success in Brazilian popular music highlighting the resistance and strength of women.
